How do I file manual claims and how often are manual claims reimbursed?

File a claim via BMA’s FSA Mobile App

  • Download the BMA FSA Mobile App via Google Play & App Store
    • Search 🔍 BMA FSA
  • Sign in or Register, enter your username & Password and follow these three steps:
    • Step 1: Select Claims and click the Addition Sign, located in the top right corner and select Submit A Claim.
    • Step 2: Enter all claim information and upload a photo of your receipt, select Preview.
    • Step 3: Verify all Claim Information is correct, select Submit.

File a claim via BMA’s secure online portal

  • Login Here, click on Login or Create Account and enter your username and password.
  • Select the Benefits tab and click Flex in the dropdown list.
  • Select the My Accounts tab and click Submit Claims in the dropdown list and follow these four steps:
    • Step 1: Click Add New and enter your claim information.
      • Complete Service Dates, Claim Amount, Claimant, Provider, and Account Type.
      • Attached all Receipt Files, if unattached claim will be denied.
      • Add any additional notes, if needed.
    • Step 2: Once you have entered in all your claim information, click OK to add the claim.
    • Step 3: Complete Step 1 again, to Add New additional claims.
    • Step 4: Check the Certification Agreement box and select Submit.

File a manual claim via fax, email or postal mail service

  • Click Here to download a Health and Dependent Care manual claim form.
  • Print form; complete all fields, sign and date claim form.
    • Submit the completed claim form and itemized receipts or EOB to BMA via:

Manual claims are processed on a weekly basis. Completed claims will be processed within 7-10 business days. Checks are mailed on Fridays.
